Bob has been a nationally recognized indoor environmental consultant and trainer in the IAQ industry for over 25 years. He has designed and managed successful indoor environmental and building performance projects for residential, commercial, educational and healthcare facilities throughout the U.S. and abroad, and conducted hundreds of investigations since 1990.

In 2000, he served on the American Indoor Air Quality Council’s (now ACAC) development committee to create their Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMRS) program, the IAQ-industry’s first board-approved mold certification. He authored the principal course materials and delivered training courses to over 1000 CMRS candidates throughout the country.

Bob Krell served on the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) for three consecutive terms from 1990-2000. He served on the Executive Committee in both Secretary and vice president capacities. Bob helped NADCA gain industry credibility with both the federal government and other established entities in its early years through the efforts of NADCA’s Government Affairs Committee, which he established and chaired from 1991-1996. He was the Project Manager for the EPA-NADCA HVAC Systems Cleaning Study in 1996-1998, and chaired the Standards Committee from 1997-2000. During his NADCA term, Bob also chaired several of the Annual Conventions, and represented NADCA at numerous functions worldwide. In 2015, he was inducted to the NADCA Hall of Fame for his industry contributions.

For over 26 years, Bob has been president of IAQ Technologies, Inc., a Syracuse, NY-based indoor environmental and building performance firm offering consulting, mitigation and training services to a variety of clients throughout the country. He is the founder of IAQnet, LLC, which, in addition to operating IAQschool.online, hosts the online information site IAQ.net. He is also the publisher of the indoor environmental industry magazine, Healthy Indoors (http://HealthyIndoors.com).

He has presented at numerous industry conferences, appeared on national television and radio, produces educational videos and webinars and is widely published on indoor environmental topics. He is host of the online video program “The Healthy Indoors Show”. He also moderates the “Healthy Indoors” discussion group on LinkedIn.

He is known for his unorthodox, theatrical stage antics, that have kept audiences entertained while delivering technical content in an understandable manner.
